The Board of Secondary Education, Madhya Pradesh, was to regulate secondary education in the state and also look after related matters on school education. The Board has the responsibility for recognition and de-recognition of schools in the state. The class 10th (High School Certificate - HSC) and class 12th (Higher Secondary School Certificate – HSSC) examinations across the state are conducted by the board.
