Introduction

Pre Engineering Test (PET) Madhya Pradesh is conducted by Professional Examination Board (PEB), Bhopal. The examination is meant for that candidate, who wants to take admission in any of the engineering colleges of the state. All the colleges situated within the state takes candidates to different engineering degree programs on the basis of Pre Engineering Test (PET) merit ranking.

Generally, the degree programs in engineering (B.E./B.Tech.) / Architecture (B.Arch.) is of 4 / 5 years duration, respectively. After successful completion candidates get job opportunities in various government as well as private agencies. The courses available in all the colleges of the state are recognised by All India Council for Technical Education – AICTE. The degrees in engineering / technology / architecture are also comparable as any other degree program and recognised by University Grants Commission – UGC.
